Book Launch and Talk: ‘Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood’ by Hettie Judah

Hettie Judah will be in conversation with writer and lecturer Charlotte Stroud, followed by a book signing.

Please note the talk will start promptly at 6pm in the Hauser & Wirth Somerset bookshop.

The gallery and garden will be closed from 5pm, but Roth Bar will be open for food and drink before and after the event with food served until 9pm and drinks until 11pm.

Tickets are free but must be booked in advance. We encourage donations to Hauser & Wirth Somerset’s 2024 – 2025 charity partner.

Hettie is the curator of the Hayward Gallery touring exhibition ‘Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood’ which opened at the Arnolfini in Bristol, UK on 9 March 2024, and tours to MAC in Birmingham, UK; Millennium Gallery in Sheffield, UK; and DCA Dundee, UK in 2024 – 2025. The standalone book ‘Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood’ will be published in the UK and Europe by Thames & Hudson on 4 July 2024, and in the US and Canada on 3 September 2024.
